Jordan Henderson at centre of furious melee after Bournemouth-Brentford clash

  • Tensions flared dramatically after Brentford's goalless draw against Bournemouth as midfielder Jordan Henderson had to be physically restrained by teammates and staff following the final whistle.
  • The incident occurred at the Vitality Stadium, where the Bees were held to a 0-0 stalemate.
  • As players and coaching staff from both sides gathered for post-match handshakes, a confrontation erupted.
  • Henderson, the former Liverpool captain, was visibly incensed and required the intervention of four individuals, including Brentford manager Keith Andrews, to prevent him from confronting Bournemouth coach Tommy Elphick.
  • Adding to the tension, a Brentford coach was also seen furiously pointing a finger at Elphick, the former Bournemouth defender.
