Operating in a slightly more advanced role, Henderson could be seen popping up in all different kinds of pockets to best help Southgate's midfield trio in the opening 45 minutes.
Harry Kane soon doubled England's advantage just before the break to take England a step closer towards a quarter-final meeting with France.
