Jordan Henderson has set Liverpool supporters' hearts racing following his superb link-up with Jude Bellingham for England's opening goal against Senegal.
The Reds midfielder superbly dispatched of Jude Bellingham's square ball to open the scoring as the Three Lions raced into an impressive 2-0 half-time lead in their last-16 clash. Operating in a slightly more advanced role, Henderson could be seen popping up in all different kinds of pockets to best help Southgate's midfield trio in the opening 45 minutes.
Harry Kane soon doubled England's advantage just before the break to take England a step closer towards a quarter-final meeting with France. Following the opening goal, some Liverpool supporters took to social media to show their admiration for Henderson's link-up with a player heavily linked with a move to Anfield next summer.
