Jordan Addison issues apology for driving 140 mph

On Thursday morning, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was pulled over on I-94 in St. Paul, MN for driving 140 mph. The incident happened at around 3 am and he was charged with speeding and reckless driving.

On Friday evening, Addison released a statement through the Vikings apologizing for the incident.

“Yesterday morning I made a mistake and used poor judgment. I recognize and own that. I am going to learn from this and not repeat the behavior. I am truly sorry.”

Addison did not get arrested for the incident and is subject to the personal conduct policy for the incident. Based on past precedent, Addison is unlikely to be suspended for the incident.

Not a great way to go into training camp, but the statement shows that Addison is taking this seriously.
