Alan Jones liked champions of sport, butler testifies

The longtime butler of Alan Jones has testified seeing the talkback titan greet a prominent athlete with a hug and "a slap on the bottom" but denies he saw anything inappropriate.

David Allan served as butler for nearly 19 years at Jones's luxury apartment in Circular Quay, doing everything from ironing the radio host's underwear, designing his shoes and cooking feasts for guests.
