Beaten but far from downbeat, teen sensation Emerson Jones is bullish about her evolution despite a second successive Australian Open first-round exit.

Jones had the misfortune of running into a top-20 ranked opponent first up for the second time in as many years, going down to Canadian 17th seed Victoria Mboko 6-4 6-1 on Monday.
