The mother of James Bulger is "celebrating" after her son's killer, Jon Venables, lost a Parole Board bid to be freed from jail, a spokesperson has said.

The panel ruling that Venables release was “not satisfied that release at this point would be safe for the protection of the public” on Wednesday.
