Jon Bon Jovi shared a tribute to the Queen with a photo of them together in Liverpool.
The legendary rockstar took to Twitter to pay his tributes to the late monarch as the world honours her memory.
Accompanying a photo of them both together, the caption said: " Queen Elizabeth was the ultimate example of service and duty… today is a sad day."

The image shows the musician extending his hand to meet the Queen after he performed at the Royal Variety Show back in 2007. Liverpool was chosen to host the event because of its Capital of Culture status and 800th birthday celebrations.
He and his band travelled to the city to perform some of his biggest tracks for the royal family including It's My Life and Lost Highway. Jon is just one member of the rock world to pay his respects as he follows the likes of Billy Idol, Bryan Adams and Yoko Ono in remembering the Queen.
