An Asian fast food restaurant that is so sought after it attracted queues of up to 18 hours long, has confirmed its newest opening date for the first ever Scottish establishment in February.
Jollibee is known for its crispy fried chicken, burgers and spaghetti with an exotic twist and operates more than 1,200 restaurants around the world.
Now, it will be opening its doors to hungry Edinburgh customers on Thursday February 24, over a month before its partner store will open in Glasgow.

The chicken chain will take over the former Santander bank branch later this month - setting up shop next door to the capital’s largest McDonalds.
The firm’s best-sellers include: the Chickenjoy – a crispy fried chicken made with a family-secret marinade, Jolly Spaghetti, made with a Filipino inspired sweet sauce and layers of cheese and hot dog slices, and the Jollibee Chicken Burger, priced at just £3.99.

Chicken fans reportedly camped out overnight ahead of the London restaurant’s opening, but the company has since expanded across the UK, with outlets in Liverpool, Leeds and Reading along with a larger premises in Leicester Square.
In total, 50 new Jollibee restaurants are set to open across Europe over the next four years as part of a £50 million expansion programme.
This location will be Scotland's first, as Glasgow's restaurant is set to open on March 25, on Sauchiehall Street inside the former Burger King.
