JoJo Siwa breaks silence after Dance Moms star's puppy 'killed in tragic accident'

Dance Moms and Dancing with the Stars' JoJo Siwa has broken her silence after her puppy sadly died on Saturday (April 29).

JoJo has shared a touching tribute following a tragic and unpreventable accident, just two months after taking him home.

The 19-year-old singer, dancer and actress, who shot to fame in 2015 during the fifth series of Abby Lee's Dance Moms, took to social media to share the upsetting news with her loyal legion of followers.

Taking to her TikTok page, which has 45.2million followers, the former child star could be seen cuddling and holding the little pup as she danced around.

Alongside the post she wrote: "Two months ago our puppy Tooie [O2] joined our family and he brought the MOST joy, laughter, and messes into our life.

"My heart hurts so much to say that this morning he was involved in an accident and is now in puppy heaven.

"I cant even explain how perfect of a dog O2 was. Going to miss him more than words can explain," she went on.

"Thank you for bringing light to my life when it was dark tooie boy. See you one day. rest in peace my lil sweet boy," she concluded.

Fans were quick to flock to the comments section on her TikTok page to send their condolences, with one writing: "Even if only for a brief time, he was so lucky to have you and you him."

While another said: "This hurt so much finding out today. My heart breaks for you & Tooie. So much love & biggest hugs ever from Maeve & I."

Although JoJo didn't disclose what happened amid the accident, Daily Mail have reported that the young pup was attacked by a coyote in the star's garden.

US Sun reports that JoJo posted a TikTok video with more details, but this has now been removed from the star's page.

In the now deleted post, according to the paper, JoJo said: "There was an accident with him this morning and it’s nothing that anybody could have done anything to prevent, so it’s no one’s fault.

"He hopefully didn’t suffer – I feel like it was pretty quick."

Mirror Online has reached out to JoJo Siwa's representatives for comment.
