NRL fans rush field for Alex Johnston's historic moment

Thousands of fans have stormed onto the field at Allianz Stadium to celebrate Alex Johnston breaking the NRL's try-scoring record in South Sydney's 26-18 loss to Sydney Roosters.

The Souths winger entered the history books during the first set after halftime, when a break down the left edge ended with his 213th career try, and second of Friday's sold-out game.
