Johnny Sexton has been hailed as a 'class act' as he appeared on Friday night's Late Late Show.
Sexton has a week off with Ireland travelling to Rome next week for their Six Nations clash.
And the Ireland captain sat down with Ryan Tubridy to speak about their Grand Slam hopes but was joined on the couch by Claudia Scanlon.
Claudia has a skin disease called epidermolysis bullosa and spoke candidly about being full time in an electric wheelchair.
She told Tubridy: "It's one of the worst conditions out there. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. It's a living hell"
And added about growing up: "It's rough. I can't say it's been an easy few years and physically and mentally it's been a strain. My health hasn't been great the last few years
"I try do be as positive as possible."
And the pair were hoping to raise funds for charity Debra and you can donate here.
And Sexton added: "When you see what the families that look after them have to go through and what they have to go through as patients it's tough to see but also incredibly inspiring.
"That's why we are here tonight to try raise some awareness and hopefully some funds for the charity."
And speaking to Tubridy, Sexton spoke rugby and retirement.
He said on retirement: "It's pretty dreading trying to figure out what I'm going to do next with myself. This is all I've known for 17 or 18 years but it'll be a big change but at the moment all I'm thinking about is next week and take it week by week but you got to finish up at some point."
And he added: "I'll throw myself into something definitely once I throw myself into something I'll be happy."
And viewers were full of praise for the Ireland captain.
One viewer wrote: "What a class act Johnny Sexton is"
While another said "Inspirational intelligent young lady speaking on behalf of Debra.ie Hope she gets generous support for her and the charity. Johnny @JohnnySexton FairPlay
While another said: "Two amazing Ambassadors for @debraireland well done Claudia and @JohnnySexton...... Go on donate a few bob"
