Music legend Johnny Mathis has seen his Hollywood Hills home fall foul to mother nature - seven years after a fire had ravaged the property.
The scenic hillside next to the 87-year-old's plush mansion has collapsed, crushing his silver Jaguar which was parked outside the property in the process. The landslide occurred after a series of extended storms had battered Southern California.
The incident comes seven years after the star's same home was destroyed in a fire.
While it's not immediately clear how the landslide has affected the home's stability, it's said pipes and other parts of its infrastructure have been left exposed and it has had all utilities cut off.
KABC reports the ground gave way next to the luxury black on Sunset Plaza, taking out a lot of the landscape and terrain surrounding the singer's abode.
At the time of the 2015 fire which decimated the property, Johnny said he'd owned it for over five decades.
More than 40 firefighters worked to douse the fire which caused the home's roof to cave in.
He called himself "very lucky" to have not been in the property at the time, but also admitted to being "a little sad of course" at the destruction caused.
The Grammy Hall of Fame inductee has had an impressive career which has spanned over seven decades.
He first burst onto the scene in the 1950s and has released almost 80 studio albums over the years. Several dozen of his productions have hit gold or platinum status.
The pop and jazz singer continues to perform his hits, including Wonderful, Wonderful and It's Not For Me To Say, which later featured on the MGM Studios film Lizzie.
He's also the voice behind festive favourite When A Child Is Born, but previously admitted he can't remember recording the tune.
Speaking in Los Angeles in the run-up to Christmas 2016, he laughed: "I swear on my mother’s grave I do not remember recording that song. I cannot remember the sessions at all.
"But of course from the age of 19 until now I’ve been in so many studio sessions, it could have been anywhere. That’s the way it is when you make records."
Despite his huge number of records, the seasonal number, released in 1966, was the only number one he bagged in the UK.
