A John Wick television series is currently in development by Lionsgate, as announced by the Vice Chairman of the company. The new small screen project will delve into the intense world of the infamous assassin, Baba Yaga. While specific details about the TV series are still under wraps, it follows the recent trend of expanding the John Wick franchise into serialized storytelling. This includes the prequel series, The Continental: From the World of John Wick, which focuses on a young Winston Scott and his journey to becoming the proprietor of 'The Continental' in New York.
Despite the franchise's recent ventures into television, some key figures from the original movies have expressed disinterest in the spinoffs. Ian McShane, who portrays Winston Scott in the John Wick films, stated that he has no intention of watching The Continental and believes it was created without consulting the original team.
