John Travolta has shared a beautiful and heartfelt tribute to his late Grease co-star Olivia Newton-John, after it was announced that she had sadly died earlier this week.
The actor joined other star studded names like Barbra Streisand, Kylie Minogue, Rebel Wilson, and a litany of others, as they mourned the Australian actress' passing yesterday morning.
Referring to their characters from the 1978 hit musical feature length film, John paid tribute to his co-star's amazing impact on the silver screen - pledging to see her 'down the road'.

Taking to Instagram moments after the news was made public, John posted a snap of the late star - sharing a tribute with his 4.1 million followers. He wrote: "My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better. Your impact was incredible.
"I love you so much. We will see you down the road and we will all be together again. Yours from the moment I saw you and forever!
"Your Danny, your John!"
The Mirror reports that Olivia's husband John Easterling announced the sad news of her death, on her official Facebook page on Monday afternoon. The actress best known for her work as Sandy in Grease, passed away at her South California ranch on Monday morning.
The post read: "Dame Olivia Newton-John (73) passed away peacefully at her Ranch in Southern California this morning, surrounded by family and friends. We ask that everyone please respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time. Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer.
"Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continues with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in her memory to the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund (ONJFoundationFund.org).
"Olivia is survived by her husband John Easterling; daughter Chloe Lattanzi; sister Sarah Newton-John; brother Toby Newton-John; nieces and nephews Tottie, Fiona and Brett Goldsmith; Emerson, Charlie, Zac, Jeremy, Randall, and Pierz Newton-John; Jude Newton-Stock, Layla Lee; Kira and Tasha Edelstein; and Brin and Valerie Hall."
Olivia's passing comes just three years following from the actress and her former co-star's reunion, paying homage to their famous Grease characters - which sent fans wild with nostalgia. The pair looked hopelessly devoted to one another as they took on the roles of Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson once more, for a movie sing-along in December 2019.
The duo were at a "Meet 'N Grease" movie sing-along event at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach. Posting a photo to her Instagram page at the time, Olivia said: "First time in costume since we made the movie! So excited!!".
And John isn't the only celeb who has paid tribute to his beloved co-star in the wake of her death. Barbra Streisand - a long-time friend of the late star wrote on Instagram: "Too young to leave this world. May she RIP. [sad emojis] #OliviaNewtonJohn."
American presenter Andy Cohen shared a video of Olivia singing one of her iconic hits on Instagram. "Hopelessly Devoted to YOU, Olivia Newton John," Andy captioned the clip of the actress. "Rest In Peace, Queen. Thank you for the music."
Fellow Aussie Kylie Minogue shared a black and white snap of herself and Olivia, writing: "Since I was ten years old, I have loved and looked up to Olivia Newton John. And, I always will. (Just like this picture @nfsaonline). She was, and always will be, an inspiration to me in so many, many ways. My deepest condolences to her family and loved ones. x ONJ4EVER @therealonj."
Bring It On actress Gabrielle Union wrote on Twitter: "Grease is my #1 movie of all time and made me a lifelong Olivia Newton John fan. Me and my sister watched Xanadu more times than I could count. Sending so much love and prayers to a real gift of a woman and talent. #RIPOliviaNewtonJohn."
Oscar winner Viola Davis shared an article confirming Olivia's death on Twitter and added: "Oh man!!! You were my childhood!! Your talent, poise, beauty!! Rest in glorious peace. God bless your family....and thank you for creating eternal memories."
Former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan shared a snap of himself and Olivia with his Twitter followers, as he wrote: "So sad to hear the fabulously gutsy, warm & talented Olivia Newton-John has died. At an auction of her Grease memorabilia in LA three years ago, she told me her favourite song from the movie was Hopelessly Devoted To You.
"Great song, great film, great lady. RIP."
