John Swinney to consider legislation to ban pitch invasions in Scotland

JOHN Swinney has said the Scottish Government will consider bringing in legislation to ban pitch invasions following “astonishingly poor behaviour” by Celtic fans on Saturday.

However, the First Minister made no explicit commitment to criminalising them despite the fact it is illegal in England and Wales to enter the field of play.
