John Russell hailed his players after watching his Sligo Rovers side earn a famous win against Motherwell.
The 37-year-old, who was only named interim manager of the club two months ago, praised his side for carrying out the game plan to "perfection" but warned that the job is only half done.
After watching Sligo record one of their most famous wins in Europe, he said: "I'm unbelievably proud of the players. It was a brilliant performance. I thought we were set up really well. The players carried out the game plan to perfection.

"We knew we wanted to limit them being away from home in the first leg and I felt with the pace and energy in our team that we could break and counter and the goal Aidan scored was brilliant. It was a serious finish.
"For all our travelling supporters coming over, it's a brilliant night for them to witness that goal and the defensive display
"I felt over the 90 minutes we deserved to win the game. We could have had another goal. I thought we should have had a penalty too in the second half.
"We've got to recover now. It's a good performance but we have to go again next week.
"Motherwell have had a good look at us now tonight. You're always coming into these games when we're the underdog and they're expected to win at home in front of their fans.
"There was a big crowd here and they'll be hurting. We can't be coming in thinking we've done a great job.
"Yeah we have played well tonight but we need to go again and go up another level or two and hopefully we'll have a full house next Thursday, which I'm sure we will."
