John Lundstram says the Rangers dressing room have had frank conversations in the aftermath of defeat to Celtic at Hampden.
The midfielder was an injury doubt for the game but pulled through to make the starting XI, but that area of the park was criticised in the wake of a 2-1 loss during the League Cup final. Manager Michael Beale was questioned on not starting players like Nicolas Raskin but Lundstram admits the inquest for answers has been throughout the squad.
He insists that it's time to move on ahead of Saturday's Premiership match with Kilmarnock at Ibrox, but that doesn't mean Viaplay Cup anguish at Celtic hands doesn't hurt. He said: "It was a tough one at the weekend, it stings but we have to go into the weekend now and get a result. We have to get this out of our system this weekend, we spoke to each other and we know we need to do better.
"Nobody was angrier and more disappointed than the players. You have to go home and look at yourself, I take responsibility for my performance, I wasn't as involved in the game as I would have liked.
"We have to go for the remainder of the season and push in the league and push to win the Scottish Cup. I just want to win trophies with this football club.
"I welcome the new additions to the midfield which will help us as we move forward in future. It is important we all stick together and go on a good run now, we are all disappointed and we need to put it right.
"We have spoken internally about where we went wrong. That is on us as players, we have to stay focused, work hard and try to stay positive which is obviously hard after a poor result."
