John Lineker is back.
The former ONE Championship titleholder and UFC contender has been booked to take on Kim Jae Woong in a bantamweight bout at ONE Fight Night 13 on Aug. 4 from Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The card will stream on Prime Video.
Lineker (35-10) is coming off his first professional loss under the ONE Championship banner. The Brazilian suffered a fourth-round TKO against Fabricio Andrade for the vacant ONE bantamweight title. The fight took place Feb. 25 in Bangkok and served as the headliner of ONE Fight Night 7.
The bout between Lineker and Andrade was a rematch as the two had also fought last October. That fight ended in a no contest after Lineker was unable to continue fighting due to an accidental groin strike. Prior to that, Lineker was on a four-fight winning streak.
Jae Woong (13-7) also looks to bounce back from adversity. He is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Shoko Sato in January. The bout against Lineker marks Jae Woong’s bantamweight debut.
