Does John Lewis still price match?
From 1925 to 2022, John Lewis & Partners had a policy known as ‘Never Knowingly Undersold’ whereby it pledged to match the price of any of its competitors if they were selling one of John Lewis’ products for less. Sadly this price matching service was discontinued on the 23rd of August 2022.
Does John Lewis offer free delivery?
John Lewis & Partners offers free delivery when you spend £50 and over, and charges £4.50 for orders under £50. Exceptions apply to large items being delivered to non-UK mainland locations. Smaller items are usually delivered within 5 working days, Monday to Saturday, 7.30am - 6.30pm via Royal Mail, Evri, DHL or DPD. The brand sends you an email with tracking information once your item has left its warehouses. Larger items, including furniture and appliances, will either be delivered by a John Lewis & Partners van or one of its approved suppliers within 3 working days. The brand also offers next day delivery, named day delivery, and evening delivery options for most items. Charges for these delivery methods vary depending on the size of the order.
How do I return an item to John Lewis?
If your product is unused and in its original condition (including all labels and tags intact), it can generally be returned with proof of purchase within 35 days. The brand will then give you an exchange or refund if your returned product meets its terms and conditions. As John Lewis & Partners stock is so varied some exceptions may apply, so make sure to check the details before you shop.

However, with that pledge now retired, the brand has started to run its own Black Friday promotions, generally sticking to the last Friday of November which is the traditional start of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, although last year started discounting earlier in November.
