John Lewis £65 boots are the 'comfiest boots I've ever worn'

I absolutely love autumnal fashion, especially the fluffy knitwear and chunky boots, but let's be honest, boots aren't always the most comfortable choice of footwear.

I've purchased many pairs of boots in my time and most have either ended up giving me blisters, being too high, or just being generally uncomfortable. That said, boots are my absolute to go when it comes to everyday life, whether that be going to work, going out for drinks or a walk in the park, so I'm always on the hunt for the perfect pair.

I often pull on the same old ones I bought from Debenhams years ago, but I recently saw a lot of hype over the John Lewis 'ANYDAY' Chelsea Boots priced at £65. Shoppers have previously described the boots as feeling like you're 'walking on air' so I was keen to see what all the fuss was about.

Although the boots are currently sold out in black, they are available in khaki, burgundy and white. Made from soft leather, the boots feature a chunky cleated sole made from a 'lightweight EVA composition' which I think is what really makes these boots so comfortable.

When you get a chunky boot with a big heel, they can often feel uncomfortable and stiff, but these feel spongey and cushioned on the inside and they're so comfortable to walk in. The ankle of the boot is really flexible which is quite rare for a Chelsea boot which can sometimes feel thick and stiff.

As soon as I put the boots on, I was generally surprised at just how comfortable they were. On the exterior, the boots seem hard and sturdy, but the inside is incredibly soft.

I've been wearing mine with tights and dresses and I really like the aesthetic. The dark chunky boot gives me that autumnal vibe I'm after without looking too clunky, and I absolutely love it.

After purchasing these boots, I knew I'd be wearing them constantly. They seem to go really well with virtually everything, and offer so much comfort in the process.

It's easy to see why these boots are popular with shoppers, and I can definitely confirm that the hype is worth it. For £65 I think the John Lewis boots offer such good value, considering I've paid a lot more for boots that are no where near as comfortable.

I'm already planning on treating myself to the white and burgundy pair because I'm officially in love with these boots. You can purchase them here for £65.
