John Dahl Tomasson has revealed that Blackburn Rovers are looking to add another attacker during the January transfer window, amid reports linking Joe Gelhardt with a move to Ewood Park.
Gelhardt is reportedly set to leave Elland Road on loan this month, and has attracted interest from a number of Championship clubs, including Wigan Athletic and Swansea City.
The forward is expected to feature in Leeds United's FA Cup third round replay against Cardiff City on Wednesday, before being made available on loan, according to the Lancashire Telegraph.
The 20-year-old came through Wigan's academy and scored one goal in 21 appearances for the Latics before joining Leeds in 2020. Blackburn are the latest club to be linked with Gelhardt, and Tomasson has announced his intentions to add firepower in the final third before the transfer window shuts.

“I’m not saying that we definitely should pick up a striker but for sure we need attacking players,” Tomasson told the Lancashire Telegraph.
“I look regarding quality and choosing how we want to play. An attacking player for me could be a No 9, on the sides, and it’s about what’s possible and what’s not.
“It’s not like we can choose everything and we’re realistic about that.”
