Pub staff were astonished when Sir Ian McKellen popped into a pub for a drink with John Bishop - and they were joined by Kate Bush.
The comedian and Sir Ian are starring in theatre show Mother Goose and celebrated the 100th show with a visit to The Jolly Farmers pub in Oxford.
John Bishop got behind the bar to pull a pint - and later Kate Bush popped in to see Sir Ian and "have a few drinks", according to staff.
A staff member said Sir Ian was "astonishingly wonderful" during Wednesday's visit and added: "This little pub is truly something special."
Mother Goose is a panto written by Coronation Street writer, currently showing at New Theatre in Oxford.
