Joey Essex has partially addressed reports he could be dating his Dancing on Ice co-star Vanessa Bauer, ahead of their show debut.
Lorraine Kelly quizzed former TOWIE and I'm A Celebrity star Joey about the rumours, after they were revealed to be skating together on the show.
Rumours of them being a possible couple came about at the end of 2022, after they were pictured together looking close.
But he hasn't exactly put the rumours to bed, as he spoke about it on Tuesday ahead of the pair taking to the ice together in the first live show very soon.
Joey acted clueless when Lorraine first broached the subject, saying she had to ask him about the rumours.
As she repeated them he didn't exactly deny the rumours, as he addressed the possible romance and praised Vanessa.
Lorraine had said: "You've got lovely Vanessa as your partner. The two of you get on incredibly well. So of course, everybody says you're going out. That is what they say all the time."
Joey said of the claims: "Lovely girl. What? The tabloids? I mean she's a great partner. She is beautiful, she is a lovely girl and we get on really well.
"It is nice to be with someone who... we literally spend so much time together on the ice so it is nice to er... be happy, yeah."
Lorraine then downplayed whether she thought they were an item, saying they got on well together, adding: "Of course you do..."
It comes as Joey and Vanessa attended the TV Choice Awards 2022 together in November, a month after his place on the show was confirmed on This Morning.
Joey said at the time: "I'm so happy, I'm so excited. It's more serious to what I normally do, I've done all the dating shows in the world. This is a bit more serious for me."
He added: "I’m ready for the commitment. It’s not easy to do, it’s five and a half months work."
