Joel Klatt says Ohio State is one of four legit title contenders

As the excitement of college football builds, all the experts are beginning to make their predictions for what the future holds. After having conversations and preseason observations, Joel Klatt says he’d be shocked if Ohio State wasn’t in the mix along with three other teams.

Along with the Buckeyes, Klatt says Georgia, Oregon, and Texas are his favorites to win the national championship. It doesn’t sound like he’s ready to make a prediction just yet but says he’d be shocked if one of those four teams is not hoisting the trophy at year’s end.

On top of that, Klatt feels that Ohio State and Georgia will be No. 1 and 2 with Oregon and Texas being No. 3 and 4 in no particular order.

Klatt feels like those four teams have separated themselves in terms of talent and for any other team to have a shot would take some extremely lucky breaks.

There are still a lot of questions still to answer before August 31 rolls around, but the Buckeyes are certainly in position to make a run at their first national title since 2014.
