Fox Sports college football expert Joel Klatt predicts that the Georgia Bulldogs will defeat the Clemson Tigers in Week 1 of the 2024 college football season. Klatt has some concerns about the Georgia run game with the toe injury to running back Roderick Robinson and the potential suspension of Trevor Etienne.

Klatt likes for Georgia to cover the 13.5 point spread and thinks it will be a low scoring game. “I love something in the neighborhood of 24-10,” said Klatt on his prediction for the Georgia-Clemson game.
Klatt thinks that Clemson does not have the weapons to do much damage to this Georgia defense. He is also very high on Georgia quarterback Carson Beck and ranks as his top passer.
Klatt has the Ohio State Buckeyes and Georgia Bulldogs as his two best this year. He thinks they will face off in the national championship game and ranks them as the top two teams in his preseason top 25.
