Joel Klatt and Ohio State head coach Ryan Day talk pressure, expectations, and the upcoming season

Joel Klatt is one of college football’s foremost experts. A former player and student of the game, Klatt has worked his way into one of the most respected voices in the land. He shoots straight… even at the risk of drawing the ire of passionate fanbases.

The Fox Big Noon Kickoff analyst has been sitting down with some of the biggest names in coaching over the past few weeks in a series titled “Big Noon Conversations.” He’s interviewed the likes of Matt Rhule of Nebraska, Deion Sanders of Colorado, Steve Sarkisian of Texas, and yes… even Sherrone Moore of Michigan.

But now Klatt is giving Buckeye Nation what they really want… a sit-down interview with OSU head coach Ryan Day. In close to 24 minutes, Klatt and Day go back and forth on topics like the pressure cooker that is Ohio State, what the expectations are for the season, stepping down from play-calling duties, and more.

It’s an insightful watch and one any Buckeye fan will find intriguing. You can see the full interview on Klatt’s YouTube page “The Joel Klatt Show“.

Klatt likes where Ohio State is positioned for the upcoming season. And why wouldn’t he with the amount of talent the Buckeyes have coming back this season?

We’re just eight weeks away from the college football season and it can’t get here soon enough.
