TV presenter Joel Dommett is to spend six weeks in the Dominican Republic filming the reboot of a BBC challenge show. The Sun reports the Caribbean Island has been chosen as the location for the reboot of Survivor.
A source said: “[Joel] has really hit the jackpot because the show is being filmed in the Dominican. Joel will be out there in the sunshine for six weeks while the contestants do their thing.
“Obviously for Joel it is a huge honour to be fronting the updated version of Survivor. But knowing he is going to be spending his days in a tropical location, which will be over 30C every day, has made it even more exciting.
