It was a shocking Game 1 loss for the Celtics who fell to the 76ers without MVP Joel Embiid on Monday. There was plenty of blame to go around for the 119–115 home loss, and Boston coach Joe Mazzulla got a fair share of criticism for his perceived lack of adjustments throughout the contest, leading to James Harden tallying 45 points.
But the Celtics flipped the script in Game 2 on Wednesday and obliterated Philadelphia 121–87 in Embiid’s return from a knee sprain. Not to mention, Harden was held to just 12 points on 2-for-14 shooting from the field. After the win, Mazzulla couldn’t help but take a not-so-subtle shot at media members when they were done asking questions.

"What, no one wants to ask about the adjustments we made from game one to game two?"

“Nobody wants to ask about all the adjustments we made from Game 1 to Game 2?” he asked before walking off.
It was a clear mic drop with some gloating to boot. Despite the big win, Mazzulla was as intense as ever, saying his team was “angry” and “pissed” after their Game 1 loss. Game 3 is scheduled for Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
