In a recent interview with Comicbook.com, actor Joe Manganiello revealed some interesting insights into his potential involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). While fans had been hoping to see him return as Flash Thompson, a character he previously portrayed in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, it seems that opportunity has passed. However, Manganiello did mention that there was a chance for him to join the MCU in one of Taika Waititi's Thor movies.
Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts, Manganiello was unable to take part in the Thor film that Waititi had considered him for. He expressed disappointment at not being able to make his reappearance in the Marvel Universe through that particular project. Although he did not specify the character he would have played, this revelation suggests that he is open to playing a larger role in the MCU.
