
Former National Counterterrorism Center boss Joe Kent on Wednesday suggested that a conspiracy theory alleging Israel may have been involved in the assassination of late conservative activist Charlie Kirk was a “data point” that needed investigation, New York Post reported.
Kent, who resigned his Trump administration position Tuesday in protest of the war in Iran, said Kirk’s purported opposition to taking military action against the Islamic Republic was a factor that warranted scrutiny.
