Joe Joyce fights in early July with his opponent yet to be confirmed and amid these talks he has appeared to call out Tyson Fury for a fight. The reigning British, Commonwealth, WBC Silver, and WBO International heavyweight champion has engaged in a Twitter exchange with the reigning WBC Champion saying 'do you want some' in response a comment by the so-called 'Gypsy King'.
Joyce was set to fight Joseph Parker, which has been delayed with a new opponent being sought by Frank Warren, who also made Fury's fight against Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium in April and the comments were made under a post speculating who would win in a fight between the pair. The 34-year-old World Champion replied saying: “The only way anybody could beat me is with a bat while I’m sleeping”.
Joyce was quick to respond, saying: “Wait, I thought you’re retired? If you want some I’ll give it to ya!”. A fight between the pair in the near future is unlikely as it stands with it being believed that Fury would only come out of retirement for a fight against the winner of Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk.

However, should Joyce continue on his current unbeaten trajectory, a world championship shot could come into the frame. The 36-year-old Brit has been tipped to face Deontay Wilder in the near future in what would be a fight between the top two contenders for Fury's WBC belt.
Warren himself has also tipped such a fight to happen, saying in recent weeks that a Wilder vs Joyce fight is what he wants to see. Telling iFL.TV, he said: "He [Wilder] was in gruelling fights with Tyson. The last one was a classic.
‘When you talk about the best fights of the last 20 years, that fight [Fury-Wilder III] certainly is one of them. I don’t know what he’s got left… he’s a dangerous man and he can punch - ask Tyson.
"So if he’s got something to give, good luck to him, we welcome him back. Him and Joe Joyce, what a great fight that would be. Who would you rather see him fight than Joe Joyce?
"You want to see him [Wilder] fight Dillian Whyte? I’d much rather see him fight Joe Joyce. I don’t want to see two losers fight. I’d rather see him fight a winner, and he’d be fighting for the No1 spot."
