Ex-Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart believes James Milner does not receive the credit he deserves as a footballer.
Team-mates at the Etihad Stadium for five years, the pair won four trophies together at City and were part of Roberto Mancini's side that famously clinched the Premier League title on the final day of the 2011/12 Premier League season.
Milner swapped City to sign for Liverpool during the summer of 2015 and has been an invaluable member of Jurgen Klopp's squad, leading by example both in terms of performance levels and setting the standards off the pitch.

The 37-year-old looks set to leave Anfield at the end of the current campaign and will be majorly missed by Jurgen Klopp for his versatility and dependable nature. One person Milner's impact is not lost on is Hart, who has voiced his disapproval over the lack of respect the veteran midfielder is often shown.
“Not many [teams] have James Milner’s, that’s how important he is," the now Celtic shot-stopper told The Ben Foster Podcast. "I was thinking this the other day, he’s a good winger, a very good full-back, an amazing centre-mid. He even played up front for us for a patch and he was wicked.
“He’s talented and has been about since he was 16. he’s got skill: shooting with his left and right, crossing, distribution, engine and tackling. He’s a wicked player. I don’t like that he’s just known as a bit of a Gareth Barry, with 700-odd appearances, he’s a bit of a legend. No. He’s good, a really good footballer.”
