Joe Hart says Celtic are focused on "growing together" as they jet off to Austria for pre-season. And the experienced stopper insists there is more to come from his team, as soon as everyone is on board the Ange Postecoglou express.
35-year-old Hart has been an integral part of Celtic's revival under Postecoglou and the side is virtually recognisable from where it was just 12 months ago. They charged to a Premiership and Premier Sports Cup double last season and go straight into the Champions League after the summer.
For now though it's all about team bonding in Austria and the Czech Republic as Hart and co. welcome new signings Benjamin Siegrist and Alexandro Bernabei to the camp. The veteran stopper was quick to remind fans the team is still new despite its' rapid progress last season, and reckons things are only looking up in the weeks and months ahead.
Hart told Celtic TV: “These are great times and moments for the group, a group that’s still fairly new. We have a lot of time together to grow and to sort the dynamic and the habits we want as a team.
“The manager has plenty he wants to implement. But we have to do that as players as well and as soon as everyone is pulling in the same direction, then you have a chance to succeed.”
