Joe Hart leaves Declan Rice West Ham message as Rangers stars join Celtic No1 in liking trophy selfie

It was a night Declan Rice will never forget as the West Ham skipper tasted European glory.

The England international played a major role in the competition run as David Moyes and his troops went all the way and lifted the Europa Conference League trophy with a last minute winner causing wild scenes both on the park and in the stands. The Hammers had Jarrod Bowen to thank as he slotted home after being played through to dump Fiorentina 2-1 and end a long wait for silverware.

Former Everton and Manchester United boss Moyes raced down the touchline to celebrate the winner before showing his joy on the park after quite a remarkable achievement. He was pictured celebrating with one-time Rangers boss Mark Warburton at full-time in Prague - with the former Ibrox gaffer now one of the first-team coaches at the English Premier League side.

The players, staff and supporters have been partying long into the night and you can bet many are still going strong as we write this as they get ready for further celebrations in London this evening.

The victory also means West Ham will be competing on the European stage for the third successive season with winning the tournament gaining a pass to the Europa League group stage next term meaning England will have EIGHT teams across the three major competitions.

Rice uploaded a picture from on the turf at the Fortuna Arena in Prague alongside the trophy and his medal with the caption "EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS!!!!!!" and a series of love hearts as he expressed his joy at winning the tournament.

His post gained comment from Celtic No1 Joe Hart who sent him two clapping emojis while he also liked his post alongside a number of Rangers stars including Dujon Sterling, James Tavernier and boss Michael Beale.

Billy Gilmour, Ally McCoist and former Celtic and Rangers pair Shane Duffy and Josh Windass also showed their support by liking the image.

New Rangers No1 Jack Butland also got in on the act on a second upload of Rice posing with the trophy in his bed with the caption: "Good morning".

Beale also liked this one as did Gilmour, Duffy and Charlie Adam.
