Veteran cornerback Joe Haden is ready to call it a career, and he is retiring as a member of the Cleveland Browns. According to Adam Schefter, Haden will sign a one-day deal with the Browns as he hangs up his cleats.
Drafted with the seventh overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, Haden was one of few bright spots on a handful of abysmal football teams during his time in Cleveland. He made two Pro Bowls during his time with the Browns.
Released prior to the 2017 season, Haden then went on to play the rest of his career out as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. With both of Haden’s teams set to square off tomorrow, they will honor him as he officially retires after 12 seasons during Thursday Night Football.
