Joe Exotic, star of the hit Netflix series that got you through the COVID lockdowns, Tiger King, has announced that he is engaged to a fellow prison inmate who is 28 years his junior.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the former exotic animal keeper turned failed presidential candidate (yeah lol) shared an image of him and his new partner, 33-year-old Jorge Marquez.
“He is so amazing and is from Mexico,” wrote Exotic.
As the post continued, Exotic revealed that his hard launch of a relationship with Marquez was more than the declaration of a new relationship. Turns out, the two planned on getting married behind bars.
“Now, the quest of getting married in prison and getting him asylum or we be leaving America when we both get out,” Joe Exotic stated.
“Either way, I wish I would have met him long ago.”

The happy couple both met at the romantic location of the Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth, where they are both serving their sentences.
This will be the second time that Exotic has gotten engaged over his three years in prison. He previously dated fellow inmates John Graham and Seth Posey, but only got engaged to the latter.
Days after the initial announcement of their engagement, Exotic shared another post to X featuring a marriage license filed by himself and Marquez.

All up, this would be the sixth marriage for the Tiger King star, with his most recent divorce to former spouse Dillon Passage occurring in 2021.
The 61-year-old Tiger King star is currently in prison with a 21-year sentence for 19 counts of wildlife crimes and two counts of the conspiracy to murder Carole Baskin. It was reported by CBS News that Marquez has been imprisoned for immigration-related issues.
As part of his pleas for freedom online, Exotic has led a campaign of endorsement for Donald Trump, with the belief that the Republican former president will free him from prison.
Exotic is now telling to his followers that Trump, once re-elected, will help to arrange for Marquez to be freed as well.
Because if there’s anything we know about Trump, it’s his soft spot for migrants.
