Joe Cole believes Lille hitting the post in the second-half of Chelsea's 2-1 victory was a "key moment" and changed the game in the Blues' favour.
Chelsea, who have seen utter chaos behind the scenes for the past week, managed to keep their focus on the pitch on Wednesday evening despite going a goal down in France. Burak Yilmaz scored from the penalty spot to halve the deficit to 2-1 on aggregate in the first-half.
However, Christian Pulisic, who looked in fine form on the night, produced an accomplished finish on the stroke of half-time, latching onto a superb through ball from Jorginho. That was a huge moment for Chelsea, who went into the break level on the night and then won the match 2-1 through a rare Cesar Azpilicueta goal in the second period.

Former Chelsea winger Cole thinks the key moment in the match came when the score was level at 1-1 and Xeka hit the post with a header. "When Lille hit the post, that was a key moment in the game," Cole explained to BT Sport.
"If they dispatch that, then this game gets very interesting. I think that moment in the game was when Chelsea took a breath and composed themselves, and then they started to impose themselves on the game more."
Speaking after the match in France, Thomas Tuchel was clearly delighted with what he saw from his team. The German told BT Sport: "Brilliant, brilliant. It's nice to see that there are so many fans here to support the team, it's brilliant.
"Again, we are in the quarter-finals, it’s a big step and we shown resilience and mentality. We overcame difficulties, and did what was necessary and dug in. It’s difficult here and we did what was needed, so, well done to the team."
