Despite the season-ending injury, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow isn’t going to stop being around his teammates.
Burrow was there with the team at walkthroughs on Monday and during interviews, Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan revealed that the star quarterback will be on the sidelines helping out Jake Browning next weekend against the Steelers.
“His presence carries a lot of weight. Just having him there matters,” Callahan said, per WLWT’s Charlie Clifford.
Callahan said Burrow will be on the headset and able to give feedback in real time.
As of this writing, we don’t have official word on when Burrow’s “likely” surgery will take place. So until that happens, unlike his past knee injury, the wrist issue won’t stop him from being on the sidelines as a vocal presence and leader — and able to help Browning along as the team attempts to salvage this season.
