While it isn’t wise to read too much into early-week practice happenings around Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals, things certainly looked good on Wednesday.
There, footage from practice emerged courtesy of Fox 19’s Jeremy Rauch and others that showed a rather mobile Burrow moving around before taking big shots down the field.
Buy Bengals TicketsIt’s a little thing, but it’s something after how immobile he was last week during the loss in Tennessee, in which he rarely left the pocket or attempted anything down the field while getting blitzed.
If this is a sign of things to come, it provides a little hope that the offense can use things like moving pockets and rollouts to better effect against Arizona.
Last week, Burrow practiced “full” all three days before that showing against the Titans. But there’s a glimmer of hope that this sort of footage would indicate he’s taken another positive step in his recovery.
Seeing a lot more movement into deep throws from Joe Burrow during (open media) practice today.
Looks like a step forward. We'll see how that translates on Sunday. #Bengals @fox19 pic.twitter.com/2SkMWPhKG0
