Joe Burrow admitted that his rough Week 1 performance inspired him to get a new haircut

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow didn’t have a great performance on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, and it sparked some immediate action.

Talking with reporters on Sunday, Burrow noted that he had gotten a haircut since gameday and gave a pretty amusing reasoning for the new look.

Apparently, Burrow’s poor game against Cleveland inspired him to get the trim.

“When you have a game like that on Sunday,” Burrow joked when asked how he knew it was time to get a haircut.

Well, dang, that’s pretty honest from Burrow, who felt one of his first orders of business after losing to the Browns was to shape up his appearance.

Hey, whatever works! If getting a new ‘doo will help Burrow shake off his Week 1 struggles, than more power to him. Even if he’s partly kidding, it does seem like he’s trying to get a fresh start to 2023 in more ways than one.

Nobody thinks that Burrow will keep playing like this for the rest of the season barring a true disaster, so maybe this new haircut will help get him back on track.
