Jodie Marsh hits out at trolls after being reported to RSPCA for 'animal abuse' claims

Jodie Marsh has hit out at the ‘cruel’ trolls who reported her to the RSCPA, accusing her of animal abuse after she took her meerkat to the pub.

The 44-year-old has revealed that she is currently the target of trolls and has admitted that it’s now started having an affect on her career and “taking its toll”.

The former glamour model has described having a “campaign against me” in a tell all interview about her experience after her farm was swarmed by RSCPA investigators.

Jodie recently had a run-in with the organisation, with investigators of the animal group arriving at her farm after receiving reports that she had taken her meerkat to the pub.

She runs a charity from her farm, where she cares for a menagerie of animals including emus, llamas, goats, and guinea pigs.

The Only Fans star keeps 250 rescued animals and filmed RSPCA and Trading Standards investigators at the entrance of her farm earlier this week.

She confirmed she had taken her pet meerkat Mabel to the pub because the animal "cried if I left her".

Jodie hit out at the officers for attending her Fripps Farm Animal Rescue farm on Wednesday, saying her animals are well cared for.

The Big Brother star claims she has been targeted by "cruel trolls" who are the reason behind the visit as they are "out to cause trouble".

She even told how it's affecting her career as she's been forced to pull out of a vegan festival in the summer because of "threats".

She said: "No-one made a fuss or complained about her [Mabel] – everyone is very supportive, but I have a troll – I think it’s a woman – who is just out to cause trouble.

"The teams looked over the rescue centre and asked about the meerkat incident," she told The Sun .

Jodie funds the farm through the money she earns by doing OnlyFans and says it costs her £4,000 a week to run.

She also took to Instagram where she hit out at officers who were reportedly looking into claims an emu had a tube stuck in its neck, which she says was a feeding tube.

Filming the visit on her Instagram, Jodie explained: "We have just had 2 full hours of our day wasted by the RSPCA, APHA and some woman from trading standards.

"And it’s all because of my obsessed lunatic stalker. They turned up here mob-handed and demanded to see our animals."

She added: "They have been here for an hour because they have had reports an emu is in distress because it has a tube down its neck.

"As you all know emu would have died if we had not tube fed her.

"The vet came round, the vet showed us what to do and we put all our time and effort into getting her better and she now eats by herself."

The Mirror contacted the RSPCA, who claimed they did not actually go onto the farm but declined to make a further comment.

An Essex Trading Standards spokesperson told The Mirror: "We can confirm we made a recent visit to the farm as part of routine activity within our normal operations."

Many of Jodie's animals are believed to have been either unwanted or in danger of being euthanised or slaughtered.

With nutrition, care and expertise, Jodie has been helping bring sick or injured animals back to full health.
