Unemployment total in London surges to equivalent of a city the size of Leicester

London Unemployment Office for National Statistics

London’s jobs crisis is rapidly worsening the unemployment rate in the capital hitting a new 12-year high of 7.9%.

Latest data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) shows that that London’s employment market has deteriorated far more alarmingly than the rest of the country.
