Kevin Federline was reportedly paid £1.7 million for his interview about ex-wife Britney Spears, according to a clip on Exhale.
The 44-year-old gave an interview where he spoke about Britney's relationship with their sons and what their marriage was like.
Kevin sat down for an interview with 60 Minutes Australia, which was originally commissioned for ITV, on Sunday where he said Britney's dad 'saved her' when she was put under a conservatorship.
After being married from 2004 to 2006, Kevin said he wasn't involved in the conservatorship.
He said: "I wasn't involved in any of it, so I really don't know how the conservatorship came about. I don't know whose decision it was.

"All I know is that you have a family that is worried about their daughter and trying to do whatever they can to help her."
Their son Jayden, 15 spoke in the interview after it was claimed the boys haven't seen their mum in months.
Both Jayden and Sean Preston are thought to be living with Kevin.
Jayden's interview revealed that he claimed not to see Britney in months, as well as choosing not to go to her wedding to Sam Asghari in July.
It was reported that Britney's sons have also said they are embarrassed by racy photos their mum often posts on Instagram.
Jayden claimed that Britney treats him and his brother unfairly, which sparked a response from the pop star.
Britney has since taken to her Instagram page where she posted a voice clip talking about her son's interview as well as now being an atheist.
Talking to Jayden, she said: "You were just like my other family. You secretly loved looking at me like something was wrong with me. Do you guys want me to get better so I can continue to give your dad 40 grand a month?"
She then went on to say that her father, Jamie Spears needs to be in jail for her conservatorship.
Britney continued: "Honestly, my dad needs to be in jail for the rest of his life. But like I said, God would not allow that to happen to me if a God existed.
"I don't believe in God anymore because of the way my children and my family have treated me. There is nothing to believe anymore. I'm an atheist y'all."
She carried on talking to Jayden where she said she was 'never good enough'.
Britney said: "If I didn't shower you guys with gifts and have amazing food ready, and play a motherf***** saint, it was still never good enough. That one time I asked you, looked straight in your eyes, "I wanna see you more" you called your dad and I never saw you again.
She added: "I didn't do anything wrong, and I know I'm not perfect, but the love I've given you, and how much I adore you, and your diplomatic way... self-entitled 'This can be fixed, I will see her when she's better.'"
