Leeds United secured their passage to the third round of the Carabao Cup with a 3-1 win over Barnsley. The away side were in the match for much of the first hour but Leeds showed their class in the second half to come away with a comfortable victory.
Luis Sinisterra and Mateusz Klich were the stars of the show for Jesse Marsch’s side, as the former opened the scoring with a superb long-range strike, before winning the penalty for Klich’s first goal. Mads Andersen then halved the deficit just a few moments later, before Callum Styles missed the chance to equalise on the stroke of half time from the spot.
The Whites sealed the win in the second half thanks to a fine finish from Klich for his second of the night. Here is how Leeds fans reacted to the result.
