Joao Felix has sparked speculation around his future on social media after supporters noticed he had followed Turkish champions Galatasaray. The forward will return to Atletico Madrid this summer following his loan spell at Chelsea.
Felix joined the Blues in the January transfer window on loan until the end of the season. Todd Boehly paid around £9million for the short-term move in a hope to bolster Graham Potter's attacking options.
The 23-year-old was sent off on his debut against Fulham before going on to score four goals in 19 games. However, following Mauricio Pochettino's appointment, Atletico president Enrique Cerezo confirmed that the Portugal international would not be returning to Stamford Bridge.
"We have been informed that Poch does not count with Joao Felix for Chelsea," he said last month. "He will return here."
Felix's future at Atletico remains in doubt due to his strained relationship with manager Diego Simeone, despite him renewing his contract prior to his move to Chelsea. His next destination remains unknown, though it's unlikely any suitors will pay anywhere near the £113million Madrid paid for him.
Now, Felix has fuelled excitement around his future after following Turkish champions Galatasaray on Instagram. Felix follows just 763 accounts on Instagram in comparison to his 8.5million followers.

And his move on social media hasn't gone unnoticed at Galatasaray. Club president Dursun Ozbek addressed the situation in an interview with Mundo Deportivo: "The fact that Joao Felix is following Galatasaray shows how important Galatasaray is."
Galatasaray are expected to apply all their methods to bolster their squad ahead of their return to the Champions League. They recently signed Nicola Zaniolo from AS Roma in January and have been linked with Christian Pulisic.
