Manchester United are once again looking at the possibility of signing Joao Felix in January.
MEN Sport understands that the Reds are wishing to save most of their money for the summer and thus will be looking at loan signings in order to add depth to the depleted forward line. Although his wages and loan fee could be expensive, Felix is a player who is keenly admired by Erik ten Hag.
He is also likely to want to move to United having been restricted to appearances off the bench for Atletico Madrid this campaign. If he was to move to Manchester, there would be no shortage of familiar faces here to welcome him.

Felix's fellow international teammates Diogo Dalot and Bruno Fernandes call Old Trafford home and rate the striker highly. In fact, when United were linked with both the centre-forward and Fernandes in 2019, Dalot went on record with his admiration for the youngster.
He also predicted that Fernandes would be a good player for United should he move and that prophecy has so far played out. Speaking to A Bola, the full-back said: "They [Felix, Fernandes and Ruben Dias] are players with enormous potential.
"I’m not going to make that decision for sure. If it happens, I’ll welcome them very well, because they are friends and teammates.
"More, if this happens they will only add quality to the team. All of them are able to be world-class players.
"If their future passes through United, I’ll be here to share all those moments with them. I have known Felix for a long time and the quality he has.
"He is a player of enormous value." Dalot was correct about Fernandes and albeit he is on the other side of Manchester, the 23-year-old was right about Dias too.
If Felix does decide that a loan move to United is best for his career, Dalot could be onto a hat-trick of correct predictions.
