Joao Cancelo signs bumper Man City contract with defender set to stay until 2027

Joao Cancelo has signed a new contract that will keep him at Manchester City until 2027.

Cancelo's deal was set to expire in 2025, but he has penned a two-year extension with the reigning Premier League champions.

Portugal international Cancelo, 27, who joined from Juventus in a deal worth £60million in 2019, has made 106 appearances for City, winning three major trophies in as many years.
