Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo has taken to social media to send a message to Blues fans as he prepares to join German champions Bayern Munich before Tuesday's transfer deadline.
The Portuguese full-back is expected to join the Bundesliga club on an initial loan with a €70m (£61.5m) option to buy in the summer. The 28-year-old has only started three games for City since the World Cup and became frustrated with his lack of action under Pep Guardiola this season.
Cancelo, who signed for City from Juventus in 2019, has made 154 appearances for the Blues and won two league titles and the EFL Cup. He only penned a new five-year deal in February 2022 after being one of the club's best performers in recent campaigns.
