After enduring the most disgustingly icy NYC winter in recent memory, I was emotionally unprepared to even look at spring decor. Why fall for false hope when I can’t step outside without a shovel and earmuffs? But at long last, I’m thawing – and thanks to Joanna Gaines’s March markdowns, slashing up to 65% off her most spring-forward styles, I’m finally pulling the trigger on all the spring decor I’ve been eyeing.
Starting off strong, Joanna’s spring sale boasts an utterly and completely charming lineup of eyelet, scalloped-edge bed linens – perfect for the romantic, cottagecore-adjacent lace trend taking hold right now. Peeking out from beneath a duvet, they look a little like how I’d imagine my grandmother’s bed might have looked – if she happened to live in a storybook château.

Listen, sometimes you have to fake it. Farmers’ markets and flower shops are among my favorite spring rituals, but if a weekly run isn’t in the cards, a little help never hurts. This Queen Anne’s lace bush is perpetually in bloom and surprisingly convincing – beautiful on its own or mixed in with the real thing.
This pedestal bowl looks an awful lot like one I admired – but never actually bought – at a vintage market a couple of weeks ago. With the sun finally out, I’m back in the mood to host. Cocktail gatherings and dinner parties are lovely, but nothing quite beats brunch. A tiered serving stand like this one instantly elevates even the most ordinary fare. Suddenly, grocery store cookies taste like they came from a bakery.
