It’s a problem so many of us can relate to.
JLS hunk Aston Merrygold is struggling to master his new role in Footloose... because he is struggling to pretend to be a BAD dancer.
The Masked Singer star is playing Willard, who has some difficulty mastering his footwork at the start of the show.
“You have to be very bad at first and then you become a performer by the end of the show,” he explains. “It’s hard - if you hear head counts and you hear rhythm, your natural instinct is to hit that.
“That’s my profession - that’s what I do. To try to find something that’s off, but make it look part of it... it’s a challenge.”
But Aston - who is currently touring the country with The Masked Singer Live! - says he relishes being back on stage in front of live audiences, even if the steps come so naturally to him, it’s tricky to make them look difficult...
“That’s why these parts are so special,” he says. “It’s not easy.”
Surprise celebs are taking to the stage as two new characters Baby Dino and Baby Pug, with Lee from Steps being revealed on stage in Manchester this weekend. Aston - who starred as Robin on the ITV show - is judging alongside Denise Van Outen, with Joel Dommett hosting.
